"The Selection" Cover Redesign

Created for Type & Design 2 at UCF in Spring 2022. For this project, we were asked to redesign the dust jacket for a book we have read. I chose the first book from my favorite series, The Selection by Kiera Cass. I created a custom illustration for the cover using Procreate and customized the typeface for the title and author using Adobe Illustrator. Layout and formatting were done using Adobe InDesign. We also printed these and physically turned them in on a book. The original cover is on the left and my reimagining is on the right.
